Following the Oscar nominated Short Film “On the line”,  the movie producer Katholisches Filmwerk has introduced an another KHM DVD documentary “The Death of One”. The film is approaching the question of what is happening when we die. The fictive story is revealing the last two days of an elderly man’s life and points out the routine and insensitive handling of someones last days. Doctors, Pastors and Undertakers through their job associated with the death show their dealing of the unpopular task.

The film has received numerous awards and prizes “Best German Film” at the Short Film festival 2009 in Hamburg, category „Best script” at the international festival of German Universities of Television and Film in Munich in 2009.
