ALBUM / CD
The “LARGE” project stands at the crossroad of genres. With its concept and creative approach, arrangements and instrumental structure, it belongs to classical music. On the other hand, the presence of kaval, traditional instrument of archaic and deeply penetrative sound, tastefully distributed percussions, as well as traditional motives, inevitably lead the listener to think of the so-called world music genre. From another perspective, by its unique freedom of expression and subtle improvisation, the project also steps into the philosophy of jazz.
The unique mark to the sound and the quality of interpretation is, naturally, given by the musicians themselves. The choice of musicians, as well as of the genres, is quite specific. They are excellent, diverse professionals, graduated from the best world’s music conservatories (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, The Royal Academy of Music – London, The Amsterdam Conservatory), who also have vast, important experience in public performances and interaction with the audience.
In simple words – a promising blend.
Enjoy!
